Booked a taxi with Reading Taxi Company Called Capital Cars- telephone staffs were polite and friendly. Taxi arrived very quickly! Driver was smartly dressed and also very polite and professional. I was quoted on the phone £6.00 for my fare and that is what I paid! No quibbles with services at all… Will definitely be using Capital Cars again (and I’ve also downloaded their App so I can book taxi from my iPhone! How cool!!) DEFO RECOMMEND!

During recent train line maintenance and the delays involved, I decided to start taking a taxi from Reading to Heathrow. This was originally a temporary arrangement. Capital Cars and their service have been so good. This is now a permanent method of travel to Heathrow. I first found them on Google. The price was clearly illustrated on the website and I booked via email. This was replied to promptly and the booking confirmed without a problem. Collection from Reading train station was on time, the car was excellent and the interior spotless. The driver was professional and courteous. The final amount was as advertised on the website. Since then I have used Capital on numerous occasions and will continue to do so. My wife also traveled with Capital in the same way and felt safe whilst travelling alone. She also thinks the service and cars are excellent. I would surprise if you could find a better service anywhere else in the UK. I also had the pleasure of being driven by the owner recently. He was just as professional as the other drivers and it is easy to see where the high standards come from. If you are in doubt, try Capital Cars, you won’t be disappointed.
